Born in England, Jon Boyd Barrett grew up heavily influenced by his mother’s work with various energy healing modalities. His initial conscious experience with the universal energy force came during his first Reiki attunement at the age of fourteen. This sparked within him a curiosity for what lay beyond the physical and mechanical construct of the universe as he had come to know it up to that point. A decade on, this curiosity would turn into a deeper yearning to explore the intricate layers of subtle energies within the body and beyond - leading Jon full circle back to Reiki.

Fueled by the knowing that all reality is simply a culmination of vibrations and waveforms, Jon enjoys breaking through the perceived limitations of the self to bring a greater awareness to one’s true nature. With his gentle yet focused demeanor, he seamlessly pinpoints and untangles the webs of unconscious data causing distress and confusion in the minds and bodies of clients, thus clearing the way for a natural course of positive transition to occur.

Having studied and utilized Emotional Freedom Techniques with much success, Jon has been invited to speak on the matter at seminars and was recently a guest on the popular podcast Living with Tolle. Through his teaching of Reiki and the monthly EFT workshops he conducts in west Los Angeles, Jon assists others in expanding inner awareness and accessing their innate ability to heal themselves and others in ways that they may not have previously thought achievable. Within his practice of Reiki and EFT, Jon also combines his training in Matrix Energetics - a system of healing based on the laws of quantum physics through which by observing and collapsing energetic waves of reality, transformation and new possibilities can materialize.

Outside of his work, Jon finds joy through mediation, exploration, and the company of friends and family. He believes his purpose to be in showing by example, the seemingly impossible things that each and everyone of us can do through letting go and trusting in the power greater than our individualized perception.
